Thank you for your interest in Girls Rock Dallas. We LOVE volunteers! Volunteers help fulfill our mission by giving their hearts and time to make each moment special for future rock stars.

There are a lot of reasons to volunteer your time to Girls Rock Dallas. One of those reasons is the good feeling you get when you make a difference in a young woman’s life. Another reason is that Girls Rock Dallas is a great organization dedicated to empowering girls through music education and cultivating higher self-esteem and confidence.

And last, but not least, you get to meet a lot of cool people!  The week-long camp truly is a fun experience.  The rewards alone of seeing the girls evolve during the week display the impact Girls Rock Dallas has.

Application Process

Girls Rock Dallas is a non-profit organization with a mission to empower girls through music education. Because our work involves minors, as part of the application process we must conduct an interview for new volunteers and a criminal background check on all volunteers. Volunteers must complete and sign a Background Check Form that will be provided at a later date.  A training session is required for camp counselors, band coaches, and instrument instructors.  All volunteers will attend the mandatory orientation the Sunday prior to camp.
