Girls Rock Dallas is proud to announce our second year summer camp will be July 15-20, 2013 at Uplift Luna Preparatory, Dallas, TX.

All campers are required to attend, and should be available all day.
What is Girls Rock Camp?
Girls Rock Dallas provides a week-long summer day camp to girls, ages 8-17. Qualified volunteers will instruct campers in guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and vocals. The campers will form bands and learn how to write original songs together to perform live at a music venue in Dallas for the camp’s showcase. The girls will also have the opportunity to attend a variety of life-skill and technical workshops.
Camp cost is $325.00 and we offer financial assistance to families who need it. It is our goal to make camp accessible to all girls, because we believe that all girls can benefit from the program. We also value a diverse camper population, reflecting the greater city and world we live in. You may apply for financial assistance by filling out the financial assistance form. Applying for financial assistance will neither increase nor decrease your chances of being accepted to camp.
How to Apply for Girls Rock Camp
There are two steps in applying to summer camp. Both must be completed before GRD will process your application.
1. The summer camp application (and OPTIONAL financial assistance application)
2. An Express Yourself Piece prepared by the camper.
Express Yourself Piece
Express Yourself! Camper enrollment is not based on the quality of this creative piece. Rather, we use the EYP to get to know the camper a little better and to find out more about her interest in coming to Summer Camp. EYPs may not be returned to you, so send us something we can keep! You may send a hard copy of your piece to our P.O. Box or email us a copy.
Note: The EYP is a part of your application and must be received for GRD to process your application.
Camper Selection
Campers are currently admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. There are 50 slots available. Upon receipt of your emailed or mailed registration form we will send you a notice via email confirming your reservation number and containing payment instructions.
